Tasty tacos to warm up your winter nights
Time to make you winter weeknights sizzle! This easy-to-make taco recipe is simple, delicious and packed with that Miami Canners’ flavour you’ve come to love. Drawing its inspiration from the classic flavours of Mexico, it will leave you with a crisp crunch in the mouth and a tingle on the tongue- perfect for a chilly night in front of the fire.
What you need to make these delicious Miami Tacos
- 500g of lean beef mince- for best results, aim for 80% or higher
- 1/4 cup of Miami’s Sweet Tomatos and Chilli Relish
- ¾ cup of Miami’s Mexican Style Tomatoes
- 10 Taco shells from your favourite brand
- ½ head of chopped and diced lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- 1 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese

Would you like some great news? You’ve already done most of the work! This simple to assemble dish is perfect as a quick snack or light meal, as you can throw it together in just a few minutes. Start by gently cooking the beef over a medium heat. You’ll need about 8-10 minutes. When it’s browned and looking great, toss in the Miami Mexican Tomatoes and the relish. Reduce the heat, and make sure to keep stirring so nothing catches. Give the mixture 5 minutes to fully integrate and bring out the delicious flavours. Give it a taste, and add a little salt and pepper if desired.
Heat through your taco shells as specified on the packets. When they’re crisp and warm, throw in some lettuce and tomato then pack the shells full of the beef salsa. Top off with some gooey cheddar cheese and you’re ready to go!
